About Us

Citizens Advice Hertfordshire is a consortium of the 10 local Citizens Advice charities:

Citizens Advice Broxbourne

Citizens Advice Dacorum

Citizens Advice East Herts

Citizens Advice Hertsmere

Citizens Advice North Herts

Citizens Advice St Albans & District

Citizens Advice Stevenage

Citizens Advice Three Rivers

Citizens Advice Watford

Citizens Advice Welwyn-Hatfield

Each local Citizens Advice is an independent charity with its own strategy and priorities, focused on the needs of its local residents.

Citizens Advice Hertfordshire works to maximise the voice of the 10 local offices and facilitate the county-wide delivery of services where working together is better for our communities.

Each local service offers free, confidential and impartial advice – whoever you are. We help people overcome their problems and campaign on big issues when their voices need to be heard. We value diversity, champion equality, and challenge discrimination and harassment.

We’re here for everyone.

How we can help:

Our service is free, confidential and open to everyone. Volunteers and staff are trained to advise on a variety of issues, including:

  • Welfare benefits
  • Money and credit problems
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Family and relationship issues

We empower our clients with the knowledge and information they need to make informed decisions. We also often offer practical support such as help with filling forms, writing letters or negotiating with third parties.
